Detailed Description
InconelX-750(NO7750) the aging strengthening nickel-based superalloy
Features and applications overview:
InconelX-750 is a nickel-base superalloy aging strengthened by γ'[Ni3(Al、Ti、Nb)] phase, and has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance under 980°C, rather high strength under 800°C, quite good resistance under 540°C. It also has good formability and weldability. The alloy is mainly for manufacturing high-strength and corrosion resistant annulus parts, structural parts, bolts, and other parts of aircraft engine operating at 800°C, and flat springs and coil springs with medium or lower stress and relaxation resistance working at 540°C. It can also be used for manufacturing turbine blades of gas turbine and other parts.

The metallurgical structure of Inconel X-750:
The structure of the alloy in the state of standard heat-treatment consists of γ matrix、Ti(C、N)、Nb(C、N)、M23C6 carbides and γ'[Ni3(Al、Ti、Nb)] phase. γ' is the main strengthening phase of the alloy and it accounts for 14.5%.
The process performance and requirements of Inconel X-750:
The alloy is easy to shape when the forging temperature is between 950 and 1220°C. The solution treatment follows the intense molding step.
The average size of the grain size of the alloy is closely related to the forging deformation degree and the final forging temperature.
The alloy has good weldability and is suitable for any welding. Aging treatment after welding enables the alloy to obtain the strength of near perfect heat treatment.
The heat processing of the parts shall be operated in the sulfur-free neutral or reducing atmosphere in order to avoid vulcanization.
