Detailed Description
Graphite Electrode is mainly usde for steel-making in electric furnace, mineral hot furnace and electric resistance furnace. Graphite electrode conducts electric current into the furnace. Electric current produces arc in the smelting district in the electric furnace, when the temperature increase to about 2000 degree centigrade, smelting begins. Our a series of graphite electrode is applicable to the common furnace and high power furnace with high pressure and short arc. Our SINOM group can supply RP/HP/UHP graphite electrodes with different specifications and can also produce the products according to the custmers'requirements. Dia100-350mm, Resistivity 6-9μΩm, Bending Strength 10-12Mpa, Elastic Modulus 7-9Gpa, CTE1.8-2.9 X 10-6/degree centigrade, Compressive Strength18-22 Mpa, Bulk Density 1.52-1.57G/CM3, Ash 0.3%. 2. Dia 400-500mm, Resistivity 7-10μΩm, Bending Strength 6.5-10Mpa, Elastic Modulus 7-9.3Gpa, CTE 1.7-2.9 X 10-6/degree centigrade, Compressive Strength 18-22 Mpa, Bulk Density 1.52-1.57G/CM3, Ash0.3%. HP Graphite Electrode: 1. Dia200-350mm, Resistivity 6-7μΩm, Bending Strength 10-15Mpa, Elastic Modulus 9-12Gpa, CTE 1.6-2.2 X 10-6/degree centigrade Compressive Strength 24-28 Mpa, Bulk Density 1.62-1.70G/CM3, Ash 0.3%. 2. Dia 400-500mm, Resistivity 6-7μΩm, Bending Strength 10-13Mpa, Elastic Modulus 9-12Gpa, CTE 1.5-2.2 X 10-6/degree centigrade Compressive Strength 24-26 Mpa, Bulk Density 1.62-1.68G/CM3, Ash 0.3%.
