S.g/density: 1.122(20C). V.P.: 1.86 x 10-6Pa(25C). F.P: 110C. Consistency: 0.979g/ml. Kowlog P= 2.9. Solubility: Insoluble in water, solube in ethyl ether, acetone, toluene, dichloromethane. Stability: Thermally stable at room temperature, very stable in neutral and acidic media, hydrolyzed in strongly alkaline medium. Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 for male rats 1800mg/kg, female rats 900mg/kg. Uses: Imiprothrin is a housdhold insecticide giving super rapid knockdown against cockroaches and other rawling inscts. The knockdownactivity against cockroaches was much superior to that of conventional pyrethroids such as tetramethrin (Neo-pynamin) and prallethrin (Etoc).
