Located in Wujin District of Changzhou City in Jiangsu Province, set up in the year of 1984, Changzhou City Guoyu Environmental Science and Technology Limited Company is a share-stock enterprise authorized by Civil Administration Bureau. Neighboring the Tai Lake in the east, backing on the Ge Lake in the west, our company lies on a place with beautiful scenery and transportation is quite convenient.
Our company is a professional manufacturer of sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose,whose brand is "YUYU". There are 108 staff members, including 15 professors and technicians. Our output value was over 1 billion RMB in 2009. With solid technical force, including several professors from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, senior engineers and engineers to develop new products and give guidance upon production.
In the year of 2004, our company realized the importance of exporting, so we set up a subsidiary company used to export,that is Changzhou Yutong Nobel Metal Co.,Ltd. , so if we need to export our product to other countries, we will export in the name of Changzhou Yutong Nobel Metal Co.,Ltd., but the products are manufactured in the factory of Changzhou City Guoyu Environmental Science and Technology Limited Company .
YUYU has been producing CMC since the early 1986's and has extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process and the products. Backed by customer cooperation and support, the company has grown into the famous producer of CMC in China. Our manufacturing scope and knowledge allows YUYU to tailor product performance to exacting customer specifications.
CMC stands for Carboxymethyl Cellulose. However, CMC is more correctly the sodium salt of Carboxymethyl Cellulose.It is derived from cellulose, which is made water-soluble by a chemical reaction. The water-solubility is achieved by introducing carboxymethyl groups along the cellulose chain, which makes hydration of the molecule possible.
CMC has the ability to impart viscosity to aqueous solutions. CMC is pseudoplastic by nature and can show thixotropic and essentially non-thixotropic rheology. By choosing the right cellulose gum type, the formulator has the ability to achieve the desired rheology for any aqueous system, including suspensions and emulsions. Besides controlling the rheology, CMC is known for its excellent water retaining capacity.
