Detailed Description
Controller Area Network (CAN or CAN-BUS) allows micro-controllers and devices to communicate with each other within a vehicle without a host computer. In 1986, Robert Bosch GmbH introduced the serial bus system CAN. In 1992, cars from Mercedes-Benz were installed with CAN network. Nowadays, almost every new car manufactured in Europe is equipped with at least one CAN network. For some vehicles equipped with CAN BUS system, ECU is built to read 55W to be full power because its original halogen bulb is 55W power. When install 35W HID bulb, two things will happen when ECU system detects it. 1. When running at 35W, the ECU thinks the light bulb on one side is broken. Then it cuts down the power to the headlight, which causes the HID bulb to flicker because there isn't enough power. 2. It will cause a headlight error light on the dashboard because it thinks one side of the headlight is broken. Specification: 1) Model: Negative Elimination 2) Type: HID decoder or warning canceller 3) Weight: 0.02kg/pc 4) Length: 12cm 5) Attachment method: Plug In 6) Market Type: Aftermarket Application: Problem: For some vehicles equipped with CAN-BUS system, after you install HID bulbs and HID ballasts, the high beam icon on the dashboard doesn't work when turn on the high beam headlights. Solution: Install Negative Elimination when you install HID bulbs and ballasts. It can solve the problem above.
