A subsection of technical specifications of UV disinfection equipment (1)design parameter * Working medium: drain water out of sewage plant after secondary treatment, flocculation and filtration; * Installation requirement: Ultraviolet lamps are lay in disinfection cadals in horizontal and downstream way; * Power supply: voltage/frequency/phase, 380V±5%/50HZ/3 or 220V±5%/50HZ/1; * Daily handing capacity: 5000m3/d, peak flow is designed by 7000 m3/d; * Variation factor: K=1.4; * Water indicator: SS≤10mg/l; * Group number of fecal coliform of water inlet>107/L; * Ultraviolet transmittance @254nm≥65%; * Lifetime of lamp≥12000h; * Group number of fecal coliform of effluent water ≤1000个/L; * Effective UV biological test dose>20mJ/cm2; * Degree of protection: overwater component: IP65, underwater component: IP68. (2)description on main performances of equipment * Ultraviolet disinfection system which meets the group number of fecal coliform is not more than 1000/L. * UV system uses low pressure high output mercury lamp to ensure that when the peak flow and UV transmittance is 65%, system can realize the effective UV dose is no less than 20mJ/cm2 untill the lifetime of lamp is over. * System still can continue disinfecting when replacing ballast and cleaning quartz socket tube. * Water level control.Attaching to UV disinfection system,water level control device controls and maintains constant water level.the liquid level fluctuation of peak flow and the minimum flow(average flow is 70%) is not more than 50mm. * Cleaning method.UV disinfection system is open canal, adopting a horizontal installed modular structure with automatic mechnical cleaning system. (3)structure and material * Ballast sealing box is made of stainless steel,other underwater metal components are stainless steel over grade 316,overwater metal components are stainless steel over grade 304. * All cables which expose to ultraviolet light use Teflon paintcoat. * All cables which connect with ultraviolet lamp and ballast seal in ultraviolet module assembly, not exposed to sewage. (4)module assembly of UV lamp * Each UV module assembly comprises ultraviolet lamp、annular tubes、lamp holder and online automatic mechanical cleaning system installed inside. * Each lamp is arranged in a single quartz socket tube. * The close end is fixed on the frame through O-shaped ring so that quartz socket tube does’t contact with any steel in the frame. *Both ends of quartz socket tube don’t protrude both sides of the steel structural part of the ultraviolet lamp module frame. * Cables which connect with lamps seal in the 316 stainless steel and have waterproof protection. * Electronic ballast is separated with outside.Ballast is centrally installed in the cabinet.It adopts built-in air conditioner instead of mechanical ventilation cooling. * It is convenient for plant operation staff to replace lamps and quartz socket tubes, which is taken into consideration when designing UV lamp module. * Each module can be lifted alone when replacing lamp and quartz socket tube. * Ultraviolet module assembly contains UV intensity sensor. * Cables which connect with lamp end in electronic ballast of the top of the module frame. * Underwater parts of each UV lamp module assembly reach IP68 sealing level. (5)ultraviolet lamp * The arrangement of lamps guarantees that all lamps are parallel to each other and are evenly arranged. * All lamps and lamp electrodes should be completely submerged in sewage. Lamps are cooled naturally by sewage to ensure work in equal temperature. * Lamps are low pressure high intensity UV lamp.Preheating treatment can increase lamps’ service life. * Lamps generate zero ozone.Single lamp is 253.7nm and UV energy conversion is no less than 35%.single ultraviolet lamp is 254nm and UV energy output is more than 105W. * Filament of lamp adopts clip-on design.It is quakeproof. * The warranty lifetime of lamp is 12,000h.Output intensity of ultraviolet light is no lee than 80% of output power of new ultraviolet lamp when reach 12,000h,namely the aging factor of the lamp is no les than 0.8. * Output intensity of each ultraviolet lamp is 50% to 100%. * Time intervals between two consecutive start and stop needn’t long cooling time(10~30 minutes).It can restart in a short time period. * Without sewage inflow in open canal,ultraviolet lamp still can normally run for 10 minutes without causing damage to the lamp. * Lamp model : GPHHA1554T6L * Manufacturer : LightSources.INC * Lamp production: USA (6)lamp end seal and lamp holder * Open end of quartz socket tube is made of ASTM316 stainless steel nut,steel sleeve and pressed type O-shaped ring to form a seal, with protection degree of IP68. * Quartz socket tube nut has knurled surface for manual holding while fastening.It needn’t any auxiliary tools when removing the nuts. * Lamp is fixed with a PVC die casting lamp holder and have double seal.The second seal in the lamp holder seals and separates the lamp from UV module and other lamps in the module. * When quartz socket tube is broken, double seal in lamp holder can prevent water coming into lamp module frame and invade line connection of other lamps. * Lamp holder has anti-ultraviolet PVC die casting to avoid quartz socket tube contacting with steel sleeve. (7)quartz socket tube * Quartz socket tube is open at one end,the other end is naturally closed. * One end of quartz socket tube is round-shaped and closed, nominal thickness of the tube wall is no less than 1.5mm. * UV transmittance of quartz socket tube is no less than 90%. * Protection degree: no less than IP68 * Tube production: USA (8)ultraviolet lamp module assembly holder * The entire holder is 304 stainless steel and hung above the open canal.It is not necessary to fasten and fix all the ultraviolet modules * The entire holder has a device which can prevent ultraviolet leakage and prevent ultraviolet radiating to the open canal when accidents happen. * It is convenient to lift the entire module. (9)water level control system * Water level control system is put at the end of the drainage outlet.Its design can maintain constant water level when maximum flow and minimum flow pass through. * Water level controller is made of ASTM316 stainless steel and other corrosion resistant material. * This system can maintain the changes of the lowest water level and minimum water level.It can keep lamps fully submerged within the change. * The water head of the entire system is not more than 500mm. * The maximum change of the water level is not more than 5cm. * Water level control system can adjust when flow fluctuate in a large range and still keep open canal maintaining the lowest level which submerges all the lamps to avoid damage. (10)low water level sensor * Each open canal comprises a low water level sensor.When UV system is operated manually,automatically and remotely,it ensures that lamps are automatically extinguished while water level in canal is below the normal level. *Water level signal can output remotely and check conveniently. (11)pneumatic system * Providing all parts of the pneumatic system which supplys power to an automatic cleaning system. * This system comprises a compressor,a gas tank,a gas distribution system and other pneumatic actuator assembly to clean quartz socket tube. (12)circuit part * Each ultraviolet lamp module transmits electricity from distribution center through bus bar.It contains a grounded probe/ fuse delay circuit boards and water joint. * Each ballast drives a lamp.The power factor of ballast is no less than 98%. * The maximum power of UV system (including lamp group and distribution system, control system or other requisite auxiliary equipments) assembly machine is 10.73kw. * Our company completes wiring between lamps and ballast. * Our company provides all cables and tubes which connect lamps and ballast. *Power supply parameters of control center of each system are 220V, one-phase-two-wire,1200VA * It dosen’t need external exhaust cooling system to cool circuit board of the control panel and the ballast. * Ballast can apply to the process of treating interval effluent water.Ballast can start at intervals, which is not easy to burn down. (13)detection system of ultraviolet light intensity * Ultraviolet sensor soaking in water can monitor the intensity of ultraviolet light of module group at any time. * Sensor only detects the part of UV light sterilization band.The detection system is corrected before leaving the factory. (14)technical performance of random electronic control cabinet * Controlling the start of UV disinfection system, meanwhile, monitoring the running condition of UV disinfection system. * Having the protection requirements of overload, default phase and short circuit. * The starting method of electric machine with power ≥22kw is soft starting, otherwise it is direct starting. * Voltmeter,ammeter,start-stop button,emergency button,remote PLC/local PLC,manual operation/automatic switch and signal lights of open,stop and breakdown. * Having communication interface with spot PLC control unit bus * Having functions of protection when temperature is too high, protection in low water, alarm when fault is clear and alarm when lamp is broken-down.
