3. The steel is the most suitable material to make all kinds of high precision and long life cold-working mould, cutting tool and measuring tool.
Applications:
Used for manufacturing hot extrusion die and mandrel by aluminum alloy sections. swage hammers, forging presses, forging machine, high modulus die under high temperature and shock loading.
Heat Treatment Standard:
Quenching, 830~ 860 centigrade cold oil
Hardness of annealed:
HBS≤240
The Process:
EAF+LF+VD+ESR+Forged or hot rolled+Heat Treatment(optional)
Inspecting:
ultrasonic test, according to SEP1921 D/d or as your requirements
