Detailed Description
Character: Potassium iodide occurs as colorless or white crystals, or white crystalline powder. It dissociates iodine and becomes yellow when exposed in the air. It dissolves in ethanol, acetone, methanol, glycerin, and liquid chlorine. Little dissolves in ether and easily dissolves in water. Its aqua solution is neutral or light acidic.
