Detailed Description
SALIENT FEATURES Ÿ Drop Melting Point as per customer's specification. Working Range: 95-110ºC Ÿ Viscosity as per customers specification. Working Range: 300-600 Cst at 120ºC Ÿ Compatible with Polyethylene insulation, polypropylene binders, tapes and all other materials used in PIJF cables Ÿ Very low shrinkage, 100% synthetic based, ensures minimum Water Penetration Test Failures Ÿ Excellent stability at high temperatures and superior physical properties of flexibility and film strength COMPATIBILITY Macogel - SFY is compatible with most cable grade polymers. Tests on all commonly used materials show no reaction but it is recommended that compatibility tests are made with all polymers likely to come in contact with the gel. PACKAGING The materials shall be packed in 170 - 200 Kg M.S. Barrels. The Barrels will be properly sealed to ensure prevention of moisture ingress. On each barrel our Name, Batch No., Date of Manufacture along with the gross weight and net weight will be clearly mentioned. HEALTH & SAFETY Macogel - SFY is quickly and easily removable. It is free from unpleasant odour and have no toxic and dermatic hazards. It is also non-corrosive. GUARANTEE Each consignment supplied shall be accompanied by a Test Certificate certifying the conformity of the material to the purchaser's material specification.
