Quality control system Number Name of Defects Criterion ( Grade A) 1 Foreign Material Color Impurity Within 0.5-2mm It is allowed to have less than 2 defects Less than 0.5mm Few and sporadic 2 Surface Scratch Scratch which can not be felt by touch Few and sporadic Scratch which can be felt by touch Defect is not allowed 3 Rain Grain Less than 50x50mm It is allowed to have 1 defect Less than 100x100mm Defect is not allowed Less than 200x200mm Defect is not allowed 4 Water Infiltration ,Water mark Defect is not allowed 5 Crack Defect is not allowed 6 Craze Defect is not allowed 7 Air Bubble, Sater, Stain ( The diameter is 3mm of less) Few and sporadic 8 Borosilicate Glass mark Defect is not allowed 9 Water Elimination Defect is not allowed 10 Surface Borosilicate Glass Defect is not allowed 11 Small Surface Protrusion It is allowed to have less than 2 defects Additional Notes 1.The surface defect allowance is for each sheet. 2.For sheets without edge cutting, defects within 20mm from the edge can be ignored. 3.For Grade A sheet, total number of defects should not exceed 3. 4.Inspection method: Pet a light behind the sheet and inspect by vertically looking at the sheet from 60cm away. 6. Applications It is widely used in decoration, optical material& advertising lamp box, light collecting cover, skylight, ship glass, glass cover, for daily necessities. windshield, mechanical cover, handmake acticle, crystal furniture, sanitary ware and kitchen ware and so on.
