Wide Range DC Stabilizer A simple and economical DC-DC Stabilizer which combines both Buck and Boost features into a single device, unlike other products in the market which are either a Buck or Boost only. This innovative product is capable of delivering a steady 12VDC output (up to 1.5A Load), to correct this unstable or off-standard input voltage problem inherent in most electronic and electrical equipment. Device4U Wide Range DC Stabilizer is not a battery charger. It is designed to be an integral device part of any existing power supply system with battery backup. Applications that are widely able to leverage on this innovative product are CCTV Cameras and Door Access Controllers to extend the operating time under battery backup mode. Here are few application examples for Wide Range DC Stabilizer : 1. For example, if we use a normal 12VDC Power Supply with battery backup for the door EmLock and should there be a power failure, the battery can only keep the lock secured for a limited time before its voltage drop below 12V. By integrating the Wide Range DC Stabilizer in the Power Supply Unit, even if the battery voltage drops below 12VDC, the Wide Range DC Stabilizer will automatically boost the power to the required operating voltage to keep the lock secured for an extended period until the battery is truly drained off. 2. Another situation in which the Wide Range DC Stabilizer is advantageous is when the input voltage for equipment becomes too low, like 9V instead of 12V due to long cable runs. By using the Wide Range DC Stabilizer we are able to regulate the voltage to a steady 12VDC for optimum performance. 3. Another good application is when you need to add a 12VDC equipment to your existing 24VDC system.
