M500 series HSUPA modem is a industrial class mobile3g modem with RS232 port. Especially for wireless M2M solutions.
M500u HSPA Modem offers the ultra-fast HSDPA at 14.4Mbps (downlink) and 3G HSUPA at 5.76Mbps. If neither is available, the bus-powered USB modem can resort to quad-band EDGE/GPRS at up to 384kbps.
Besides, M500u can be upgrade to 3g router after replacing the router board.
If that wasn't enough, Belgium-based Option is touting the automatic driver installation, which basically means it will work on literally all PCs (Win2000/XP) without the need of an install CD on hand. Last but not least, the GlobeSurfer /CON also delivers out-of-the-box Mac support.
The M500u 3G HSPA modem allows mobile e-mail and internet access. Even multimedia streaming is possible. The ultra compact quad-band ,it has all the right industry standard interfaces for dial-up , voice, SMS and fax applications. It can be powered by a wide range of voltages. A built-in SIM card reader makes it easy to plug the USB HSPA modem into your application.
And in order to get your product to the market quickly and easily. The 3G cell modem can be used anywhere, e.g. the outdoors, in a bus, conference venues, a boat and even in train. M500u 3G hspa modem brings the mobile Internet service to any location with a suitable power supply.
The M500u 3G cell modem is with GPS optional, which is used for GPS tracking applications.
And M500u HSPA cell modem can be easily updated to HSPA+ modem, which provides 14.4mbps or 28mbps or higher.
