Coconut Shell Activatede Carbon: Natural pure coconut shell, provides a significantly higher volume of micropoers than either coal-, wood-, or lignite-based carbon. As a result, it is most effective than other carbon types in removing trihalomethanes and other chemicals. Acid washed Activated Carbon:Has higher absorb-ability and lower ash content. Silver-impregnated Activated Carbon:0.15%-0.2% silver ion is added to inhibt growth of bacteria, spores and microorganisms.
