Angular contact ball bearing can carry radial load and axial load at the same time, meanwhile, it can also endure pure axial load, together with high limited speed. The carrying capacity of axial load is decided by the contact angle, the bigger contact angle, the higher carrying capacity of axial load. The definition of contact angle α is the angle formed by the line upright with axes of bearings and the line which connect the grounders and contact of rollaway. Single row angular contact ball bearings have following structure types: (1) Divergence type angular contact ball bearings The code name of such bearing is S70000, there’s no fore shaft in outside track rollaway nest, and it can be separated with inside track, retainer, and steel balls these components, so that it can be installed separately. Such kind of bearings usually are mini type bearings whose internal diameter is less than 10mm, it is used in peg-top rotor, tiny electromotor and so on such equipment which have a high requirement of dynamic balance, noise, libration, stability. (2) Non contact-type angular contact ball bearings The ferrule channels of these bearings have fore shaft, so two ferrules can not be separated. According to the contact angle, it can be divided into 3 types: ① Contact angle α=40°, suitable to suffer bigger amount of axial load; ② Contact angle α=25°, mainly used for precision main shaft bearings; ② Contact angle α=15°, mainly used for larger size precision bearings. (3) Pairing configuration angular contact ball bearings Pairing configuration angular contact ball bearings mainly used in the occasion of stand both the axial load and radial load at the same time; meanwhile, it can also endure pure radial load and axial load from any direction. The factories choose and pairs such bearings according to certain requirement of pre load, and then offer them to clients. After bearing is installed in the machines and fastened, there will be no windage in bearings absolutely, meanwhile, both ferrule and steel balls are in the condition of tightness, thus can improve of rigidity of combined bearings. Single row angular contact ball bearings it can stand unite axial and radial load, but radial load takes the main part, at the same time, it can also endure pure radial load, except tandem type, configuration the other two kinds of configuration can both stand the axial load from any direction. While carrying radial load, it can also arouse additional axial force. Therefore, we need to use bearings in pairs, and make random partnership combined bearings, according to the different end plane of outside track in paired combined bearings, it can be divided into following three types: back to back collocation, face to face collocation and tandem type collocation, which are according to O type collocation, X type collocation and T type collocation separately. ① Back to back collocation, the code name of postposition is DB, as 70000/DB, the loaded lines of back to back bearings are separated toward the axes of bearings. It can suffer from bidirectional axial load, but load from one direction can just be endured by only one bearings. Back to back installed bearings offer bearing configuration with relative high rigidity, and can also stand overturning moment. ② Face to face collocation, the code name of postposition is DF, as 7000/DF, the loaded line of face to face bearings is converging toward to the axes of bearings. It can carry the bidirectional axial load, but each bearing can just stand load from one direction. Such configuration don’t have so high rigidity just the same as back to back, configuration meanwhile it is also not suitable to stand overturning moment. The rigidity and carrying capacity of overturning moment is not as good as DB type configuration, while such bearings can suffer from bidirectional axial load. ③ Tandem type collocation, the code name of postposition is DT, as 70000/DT, while in tandem type, configuration loaded line is parallel, bearings will stand radial and axial load equally. However, bearing group can just suffer from axial load from one direction. If axial load act on right-about, or there’s combined load, it is need to add another third bearing to adjust relative to tandem bearings. Such kind of configuration can string up three or more bearings on the same supporting, but it can just endure axial load from just one direction. Usually, in order to balance and limit the axial displacement of axes , there’s need to install bearings in another supporting so as to stand the axial load from another direction. Besides these, there’s another kind of single row angular ball bearing which can be matched in random. Through special process. it can be paired in random, as two back to back, two face to face, or two tandem type and so on, the axial clearance of coupled bearing can be chose according to different requirement, postposition CA means with small axial clearance, CB refers to with well situated axial clearance, while CC shows with much bigger axial clearance. Universal partnership bearings can also be configured into preload mounting bearings, and code name of postposition can be showed by GA, GB and GC. GA means much small preload mounting after partnership; GB refers to medium preloading mounting, while GC shows much bigger preload mounting.
