D301 Macroporous styrene series weakly alkaline anion exchange resin 1. Description This is a kind of anion exchange resin which has tertiary amine groups in styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. It can remove effectively organic coloring matters, inorganic acids and silicates from acidic and nearly neutral medium, with its weak alkalinity. It also can adsorb the big-sized impurities and be used in non-aqueous solution. This resin has good properties, such as highly-efficient regeneration capability, large exchange capacity, strong contamination resistance, excellent physical strength etc. 2.Typical Physical and Chemical Properties: ①Polymer Matrix Structure: Crosslinked Polystyrene Divinylbenzene ②Physical Form and Appearance:Ivory opaque spherical particle ③Functional Groups:R-N(CH3)2 ④Ionic Form ,as shipped:Free Base ⑤Total Capacity, Free Base form, wet, volumetric:≥1.45eq/l min ⑥Moisture Retention,FB form:50-60% ⑦Particle Size Range:0.3mm-1.2mm ⑧<0.3mm (max.): 1% ⑨Uniformity Coefficient (max.) :1.6 ⑩effective size:0.4-0.7mm ⑾Reversible Swelling CL-→ FB(max.):20-28% ⑿Shipping Weight (approx.):650 -720g/l ⒀Specific Gravity, moist FB Form:1.09 ⒁pH Range, Stability:1 - 9 3.Suggested Operating Condition ①Maximum Temperature: Free Base Form 100°C (212oF) max. ②Backwash Rate: 50 to 75% Bed Expansion ③Regenerant Concentration:2-4% NaOH ④Regenerant dosage:NaOH volume:resin volume =3:1 ⑤Regenerant Flow Rate:2 to 4 BV/h ⑥Regenerant contact Time:At least 40 minutes ⑦Service Flow Rate:10-25m/h 4.Applications It is mainly used in purification, ash removal and decolorization of sugar solution, decolorization of xylose, desalination and decolorization of starch sugar and water treatment industry. When being used in industrial water treatment, it can be used for manufacturing the pure water and high purity water, electroplating the chromium from wastewater etc.
