Excellet size stability in heat treatment. Deep hardening in air. High grade of strustural homogeneity and thin grain size. Availability: Limited, round diameter max 200mm. Application: The unique combination of high wear resistance and excellent toughness gives users the benefit of longer tool life in many tooling applications; blanking and forming, fine blanking, machine knives, thread rolling dies, rolls, deep drawing tools, pierching dies, cold extrusion tooling, powder pressing tools, wooden working tools, injection nozzles, brick mould liners etc. Annealing: Heat slowly and evenly to 830/860°C and then cool slowly in the furnace at 10-20ºC per hour to 600ºC, remove from furnace and cool in still air. Maximum hardness after annealing 260BHN.
