Detailed Description
Alias sulfur sulfur, colloidal sulfur , sulfur block. Appearance light yellow or brittle crystalline powder with special smell. Molecular weight of 32.06, the vapor pressure is 0.13kPa, flash point 207 ℃, melting point is 119 ℃, boiling point is 444.6 ℃, relative density (water = 1) is 2.0. Sulfur does not dissolve in water, slightly soluble in ethanol , ether, soluble in carbon disulfide . As flammable solids, sulfur is mainly used for the manufacture of dyes, pesticides, matches , gunpowder, rubber , artificial silk.
