LD-120Na is a strong acid styprene type cationic exchange resin. It is a gel-type resin with fast exchange speed, good mechanical strength, large exchange capacity and wide application scope, etc. it is mainly used to produce pure water, xylose in wet process, monosodium glutamate, and applied in metallurgy and rare element separation, etc. This product meets both the national and industry technical specification. i.Physical and chemical properties Appearance: golden to brown spherical particle Matrix: cross-linked polymer of styrene and divinylbenzene Ionic form as shipped: Na+ Total exchange capacity: ≥4.5 mmol/g Volume exchange capacity: ≥2.0mmol/ml Moisture %: 45-50 Wet apparent density: 0.77-0.85 g/ml Wet true density: 1.25-1.29 g/ml Range of grain size: 0.315-1.25 mm(≥95%) Uniformity coefficient: ≤1.6 Reversible swelling of exchange resins: (Na+→H+) ≤10% Sphere rate after abrasion: ≥95% ii.Recommended Operating Conditions pH value: 1-14 Maximum operation temperature: H+≤100℃,Na+≤120℃ Minimum resin layer thickness: ≥800mm Regenerant liquid concentration: NaCl----------------------------------------------------8-10% HCl-----------------------------------------------------4-5% Regenerant consumption: NaCl(8-10%) volume: resin volume – 1.5-2 : 1 HCl(4-5%) volume: resin volume – 2-3 : 1 Regenerant flow rate: 5-8m/h Regenerant contact time: 45-60min Washing flow rate: 10-20m/h Washing time: about 30min Fluid flow speed: 10-40m/h
