The design was modeled using state of the art software and then a finite element analysis carried out under severe overloading and point loading conditions. The model also simulated the results of thousands of weighings. This information was used to further strengthen and refine the design of the weighbridge. The end result is a superior product that has already proved its worth in many tough environments. 3.Outstanding rigidity and heavy duty structure Full diamond top plate, the thickness is 10mm; 8 pieces of 6mm thick u-beams in each bridge section, whereas, other suppliers use 4 or 6 u-beams with plate thickness less than 5mm. All u-beams are bent by bending machine at a time. This monster, with maximum power of 800t, can bend steel plates with length to 8m. Our high quality u-beams ensure the truck scale/weighbridge outstanding rigidity. The maximum span deflection ratio of our modular truck scale/weighbridge is 1/600, whereas, the span deflection ratio of other Chinese suppliers' structure is about 1/250, which is not rigid enough and results in the deck plate deformed and become wavy. 4.High quality welding We use CO2 Protection Welding and Shielded Arc Welding, standard fillet weld with no end, the minimum weld leg length is 8mm. All welding of u-beams are processed on standard welding platform. Each welding platform is equipped with a press device, which can offer 160t pressure on weighbridge u-beams. After welding, the press will be kept on the u-beams for 24 hours to release the internal stress and avoid the structure deformation. All welding lines are tested by ultrasonic flaw detection. 5.Exceptional rust and corrosion protection, outstanding resistance to wear Step 1: Sandblasting External surfaces of all modules undergo complete sandblasting to remove any contaminants such as mill scale, welding gases, oli or other residue. We use a centrifugal steel shot blasting system which blasts a mixture of steel grit and steel shot simultaneously to remove contaminants. If the steel is not properly cleaned, paint will flake and wear away, diminishing its appearance, exposing the scale to the elements and shortening its lifespan. Although paint can initially hide much of this residue on a lower quality weighbridge, it will quickly appear once in the field. We use an intense cleaning process to remove all foreign materials and residue before painting to ensure proper bonding of the paint. Sandblasting Cleaning: Sa3.0; Surface Roughness: 40~85μm Step 2: Protective coating After surface cleaning, the weighbridge is moved to dust-free painting room, and all steel surfaces are sprayed with a protective coating to prevent the steel from moisture. Step 3: 2 coatings of epoxy zinc primer Eight hours after protective coating, all weighbridge surfaces are sprayed a coating of high performance epoxy zinc primer. Twenty-four hours under constant temperature of 25℃, another coating of epoxy zinc primer will be sprayed. The thickness of 2 primers is over 60 micron. Step 4: 1 coating of alkyd enamel finish Twenty-four hours after the 2nd primer, high quality alkyd enamel finish is applied. The thickness of the finish is over 50 micron. 6.More pieces of weighbridges can be loaded into a 20ft container Our SCS-MU Modular Metal Truck Scale/Weighbridge is specially designed as per the inner dimension of 20ft container. The full use of container is to the utmost. For example, for 2 units of 18x3m, 60t truck scales/weighbridges, we need only one 20ft general purpose container to fit. Whereas, other suppliers need one 40ft container to fit the same quantity truck scales. 7.The delivery time is incredibly short Real modularized structure ensures us to keep enough modules in stock. That means we can deliver in very short time. For 2 units 3x18m truck scale, we need only 10 days to deliver. 8.Fast and economical installation, even in restricted sites Our SCS-MU Modular Metal Truck Scale/Weighbridge is humanized structure. During assembling, no need to turn over the bridges. It takes about 6 hours to finish installation of 1 complete set 3x18m weighbridge. Even in the place without crane, the weighbridge can be easily installed by a 3t forklift. 9.Convenient access Removable section covers allow convenient access for maintenance and service. 10.No exposed wiring High quality plastic hot water pipes are applied in the weighbridge to protect the cable, which has outstanding rust protection performance and won't damage the cable. 11.Low profile design The height from base-plate to top deck is only 340 & 370mm (both pit type and above ground type) 12.
