General Characteristics:
Walsun had R&D for Silicon Nitride Heater for years. Through the enhancement of material formula and sintering method, the performance of the heater is superior in following factors:
1, Walsun can provide Si3N4 heater of large size and high power. The maximum length of the product can reach 900mm and the highest power can be designed at 8000W.
2, Walsun can provide customized heater with demanded shape and temperature distribution. For example, the column shaped heater. This shaped heater has much better performance in thermal efficiency and thermal shock resistance, compare with the conventional flake shaped heater.
3, The product can reach very high power density of 100W/cm2, while it is small in size and light in weight. This is much higher than the conventional metal heater, which is 2-8 W/cm2 , and also higher than normal si3n4 heater whose power density is 20-80 W/cm2.
4, The thermal efficiency is higher than 98%. The product can reach a high temperature of 800-1000C within seconds. It can directly heat water, gas, kerosene, and metal, without noise and stains.
5, The product is highly reliable:
A, Excellent in insulation. The leakage current while working is lower than 0.1mA, much lower than the new Chinese standard which is 2mA; The leakage current when broken is lower than 7mA. There is no dielectric puncture under 2500V within one minute.
B, Excellent in strength and hardness;
C, The resistance wire has no oxidation;
D, Excellent corrosion resistance, can be used in extreme environment e.g. melted metal or chemical corrosive liquid.
E, Long service life of over 10,000 hours.
