Detailed Description
We manufacture tension wound spiral crimped fin tubes with or without root soldering with base tube diameters ranging from 12 mm to 100 mm with fin heights between 7 mm to 13 mm. Stainless steels, carbon steels, copper and copper alloy tubes are finned with stainless steel, mild steel and copper fins.
Our special finning machines fin tubes in lengths exceeding 6 meters. The strip of metal is continuously tension wound under controlled conditions and if required, simultaneously root soldered. The fin densities are 5 fpi to 12 fpi.
Solders used withstand tube wall temperatures up to 175 deg c. Special solders are used for temperatures between 175 c and 296 c. These fin tubes are not suitable for tube wall temperatures exceeding 300 c.
