Wasion Group is the leading supplier of advanced energy metering products and solutions, which has been listed in Hong Kong Stock & Exchange Market since 2005. By the end of 2008, Wasion has had approx. 2,500 employees, in excess of 1.5 billion RMB net sales. In August 2008, Wasion Science and Technology Park, the biggest manufacture base and the most advanced R&D center of electricity meter in China, was put into operation. By the end of 2009, it has had production capacity of 3 million units of three-phase electricity meters, 10million units of single-phase meters and 1million units of data collection terminals per year.
Wasion Group is principally engaged in the development, manufacture of electronic energy meters，water meters，gas meters，data collection terminal， metering system and its service under the brand name of “Wasion”. Quick, flexible response to customer and customer-tailor-made solution make Wasion Group the top one in China. Wasion Group developed and delivered the first electronic three-phase multi-function meter of China in 1994. Until now, a total of over 9 million Wasion electronic meters were installed, including 3 million units of three-phase meter and 6 million units of single-phase meters. With development of smart meter, Wasion Group is investing in communication technology to provide total solution for utility, including data concentrator and system. Besides, water and gas meter are provided to customer as well.
In order to be an innovative leader, Wasion Group invests 5% of annual revenue in R&D and technological innovation. More than 500 R&D engineers are focusing on measurement technology and communication technology to serve the domestic and the international markets. To better serve customers around the world, international sales offices in Europe, South East Asia, South America, and North Africa have been set up one by one.
