Zhejiang AoTuoKang Special Biology Development Centre is a comprehensive enterprise, which specializes in the development of the Chinese local products, combining with education, research, agriculture and trade. The Centre includes three items: Snail Industrialization item, Chinese Local Product Network item, Sweet Herb plant Park item.
Snail industrialization item
The snail stands the same position in the world with fin, adductor and abalone, which is in popular all over the international market, especially in European and America market. The international consumption of snail products is about 400,000 tons, which is equivalent to about 2,000,000-ton fresh snails.
The snail developing project has been listed in ‘China Spark Program’ and ‘Zhejiang Spark Program ’.
By regarding the modern biotechnology and net information as the leading factor, the Centre has carried out the industrialization development of some items’, such as snail. The Centre took the mode of “market + company + farm + farmer” and established the snail bases with annual output of thousands tons, developed 20 sorts of scientific researches, such as series of canned and frozen meat, series of biologic products, series of health foods, series of cosmetic. And some products have been produced and welcomed by domestic and foreign market. Now, the worth of the orders from foreign traders was up to RMB ten million. The Centre has been the leading corporation in snail item in domestic market, whose development time is the longest, whose credit standing is the best and whose trade network is the widest. The Centre won the "snail market 1ST brand in China"
Chinese Local Product Network item
It is common said more national, more world. Special native products contain the history character, and maybe represent one place, even one country and one nation’s culture. Chinese local products are the best competitive resources in China; they are inimitable and have deep history culture. They would have wide foreground and market all over the world.
In 1999, the Centre has founded the first Electronic-Commerce net of local products in China——China Local Product Network (www.csn.com.cn), which was well known and achieved the title of ‘one hundred strongest agricultural net of China’ and ‘the best innovative network’. The Centre advanced to construct the item of ‘Building of China Specialty Exposition City’ in the item of ‘Strengthening Chinese Local Product Network” and gained common understanding with many invest unit, then we began to prepare. ‘Founding national brand, Creating Chinese symbol card’ is the orientation and aim of the Network.
Sweet Herb Plant Park item
That sweet herb plant is being welcomed by consumers at home and abroad, for having high edible value, medical value and comprehensive value. The centre has introduced this basil earliest to research, cultivate and develop to industrialization. Now, we have received the orders from traders about RMB 50 million.
We are preparing to construct joint venture Company, who mainly undertakes the investigation of life science and snail industrialization.
