Properties
Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate is an inorganic white powder or crystalline granules, non-toxic, tasteless and environment-safe. It is easy soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol or in acid producing an alkaline solution, very hygroscopic when reacting with CO2 and water from the air. It has the capabilities of removing scale, emulsifying, dispersing, wetting, penetrating, and also has the capability of buffering PH value.
Use
1, Widely used in all kinds of washing industry. In washing industry, such as super concentrated powder, liquid laundry detergent, laundry paste, dry lotion, fiber fabric bleach, etc, also used in metal surface cleaning, beer bottles cleaning, float product containers cleaning. After total dissolved,it can be used in metal man preservatives, water deposit cleaning , electrical cleaning, also in food industry cleaning.
2, In the process of crude oil drilling, it can be used as mud consistency regulator, mud liquefacient.
3, In the construction industry, it can be used in acid-proofing mortar, coagulation accelerator of cement and acid proof concrete.
4, In the paper industry , it can be used as binder, paper surface treatment
5, In textile industry, it can be used as printing and dyeing assistants, and fabric treatment.
6, As soap filling materials, detergent, the antistaling agent of , vegetations molecular sieves, vegetation and fireproof material etc.
