A LONG STORY OF TRADITION
Canuti started its activity in the 50's in a small shop behind their home; this small shop have become today a Factory with 3 production plants with over 50 employees and a presence of the products all over the Italian and the European Markets.

and 3 lines of products: Pasta Canuti, Tesori del Gusto and Pasta ai Cereali.
The work of the 3 following generations, the dedication to the quality, the attention to the typicality and the genuiness of their own products, through the years have carried Canuti to be one of the Italian leader Companies in the production of fresh and frozen Pasta.
After a first experience in the production of fresh pasta in Puglia, the activity was moved then to Rimini, where today it continues to operate, bringing all of the experience learned in the south of Italy, where in that period the first big pasta producer Companies were coming up and where the culture and the use of the Pasta was higher than in the rest of the Country.
The response on the sales was immediately encouraging, so that in a few years a new store was opened.
The high quality of the bronze drawn Italian Pasta and the genuineness of the fillings were the most appreciated aspects, making Pasta Canuti a real alternative to the homemade products.
In the meantime the tourism in the Adriatic coast was increasing in an important way and so the request for the products made a capillary delivery service necessary.
Canuti faced the new requests, enlarging the range of products and adding a delivery service provided with its own vehicles for the distribution of the product all over the Adriatic coast near Rimini.
In the ‘80s Canuti started to supply products also to the large distribution.
Then Canuti started to focus also on the new technologies for the maintenance and the preservation of the product: the pasteurization, modified atmosphere and deep freezing.
In the ‘90s the actual plant was built and Canuti started to produce the deep frozen pasta and the sales volumes then started to increase in an important way.
The frozen product made possible for Canuti to double its annual sells and its production quantities in a few years.
Nowadays the Canuti strength mainly is the know-how passed from one generation to the following one in Canuti 60 years experience.
These are the main features that have allowed us to get so far today and that represents for all of us a starting point for a generation that today is at the helm of the Company that still looks forward to improve. Improving that first of all is the result of our Costumers and Partners support and contribute.
