Recently, HD video has been the most popular feature in digital SLR industry, from Nikon D90 to Canon EOS 5D Mark II and then to subsequent models such as the latest 7D, D300S and so on. We believe that HD video will soon become standard feature of many DSLRs (digital single-lens reflex). At present, 720p/1080p or even higher HD videos offered by the video SLR with well-developed lens of camera manufacturers have been a serious threat to high-end DV and quasi-professional camera field.
In many people's concept video of DSLR is poor, difficult to compare with DV, which is a misunderstanding. In fact, video of DSLR is a technological innovation. Especially when large-aperture fixed-focal lenses work with large DSLR photosensitive components, you can shoot shallow DOF that DV can not shoot, and then the images are much closer to cinefilm effect. As original video camera can not realize shallow DOF with limitations of light-sensitive components and lens, then MINI35 lens converters come out.
