Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is one kind of high-strength glass with even compressive stress on teh surface which is made by heating float glass to nearly softening point and then cooling it down rapidly by air. After heat soak process, the explosion possibility of tempered glass would reduce a lot.
Feature
High mechanical-resistant strenth
Impact-resisitant strength of tempered glass is 3-5 times higher than that of float glass of same thickness.
Safety
Glass is not easy to be broken when attached. Broken glass particle is of honeycomb shape with obtuse angles which won't cause serve hert to human body.
Thermal stability
Thermal stability oftempered glass is 3 times higher than that of foloat glass of same thickness. Tempered glass can withstand shift of 220C-250C while float glass can only withstand shift of 70C -100C.
