VIGLON polymeric sand tiles are a perfect solution for roof, as they combine aesthetics of natural tiles with high functionality, and great value for money. Polymeric sand tiles are made of mixture of quartz sand, dye and melted polymers. Such optimum combination of components determines main characteristics of this roof material. 70% of sand in the tiles ensures their mechanical stability and environmental sturdiness. 25% of polymer is a connecting link. 5% of high-quality Bayer dye ensure deep durable colour of the tiles. Thus sand and remelted plastic make indiscrete mass that is pressed hot under the pressure of 130 atmospheres. When this solid mass hardens, it virtually can not be broken. The tiles bear mechanical loads up to 350 kg/sq.cm. Advantages of polymeric sand tiles: • Wide range of colours and complete resemblance to classic tiles; • Their light weight (~20 kg/sq.m.) allow decreasing load on roof structure and foundation by 50%; • High waterproof characteristics prevent fungi, moss and cancel acid rains exposure, the roof is easy to wash; • The tiles do not carry or attract electricity, do not cause inflammation; • Due to high content of sand and selection of special dyes, polymeric sand tiles are less sensible to UV lights exploration and do not lose their colour; • Due to higher level of heat insulation and noise suppression the usage of additional insulators and films is not required; • The material is not fragile, does not crumble during transportation, is easy to process, quick and simple to lay; • Composite tiles are ecologically clean material and have all necessary certificates; • Roof durability is more than 100 years.
