(in Chinese:Fang Yuan Qing Hua Hua Hui Wen Ba Fang Yu Hu Chun Ping) With a flaring mouth, a slender neck, a pear-shaped body and a ring foot, the octagonal vase is decorated with chrysanthemum sprays alternating with lily sprays in the eight rectangular panels between two classic scroll bands. The neck is painted with plantain leaves and stylized lotus petals below a classic scroll at the rim; the lower body is painted with stylized lotus petals above a band of key-pattern at the foot. The underglaze blue is of brilliant tone with 'heaped and piled' effects. The thick body is coated with a lustrous glaze of slightly bluish tone apart form the foot rim which has burnt orange in the firing.
