Dimer acid is a dimer carbocylic acid produced by the polymerization of unsarurated fatty acid like oleic and linoleic from natural grease under the presence of catalyst.It is mainly used to produce polyamide resin(used in the production of printing ink),epoxy resin solidifying agent,Polyamide hot-melt adhesive,thixotropic alkyd and so on.
