RADIX ET RHIZOMA NOTOGINSENG/NOTOGINSENG is dry roots and stems of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F.H.Chen, which is washed after fall excavation withour flowering, separated from the main root, branch roots and rhizomes, and dried.
Nature and Flavour and Channel entry: sweet flavor, bitter，warm in nature, entrying the channel of liver, and stomach meridian.
Functions and Indications: promoting blood circulation to remove obstruction in the channels, diminishing swelling.Used mainly in the treatment of painful swelling from knocks and falls.
