Our lab created alexandrite,like natural alexandrite,is a member of the chrysoberyl family which has the chemical composition beryllium aluminum oxide.In other words,our lab created alexandrite gemstones are chemically identical to alexandrite gemstones mined naturally.Because when buying lab alexandrite,because many dealers indiscriminately use the term for imitations(such as color-change corundum).The imitations have very little color change effect and the color is light baby blue in bright daylight,because they contain less element than true lab created alexandrite.
The rate of our lab created alexandrite changing in color is 100%.In bright daylight,our lab created alexandrite is green with slightly blue,the color is the same with the one of the oriental emerald.In warm indoor incandescent or candle lighting,our lab alexandrite is red with slightly purple.The two colors in different types of light are so beautiful that everyone will be stuck on them as soon as he saw our lab created alexandrite.
