一、 Technology
Based on technologies involved in corona ozone generation, our company has designed and is manufacturing STH multifunctional ozonizer, which utilizes as disinfector and sterilizing agent in the process of disinfecting and sterilizing.
(一) The characteristics of ozone
Ozone, which has the scientific name O3 is created by combining three oxygen atoms. It has a high oxidizing ability, which is effective for disinfecting and sterlizing. It can kill most bacteria in the water or in the air. It is accepted as a broad-spectrum, effective disinfectant and antiseptic. Ozone is an important component of our atmosphere. Our atmosphere contains 0.01-0.04ppm of ozone, which balances the level of bacteria and mildew in nature. Ozone is also created electrically in nature during active thunderstorms. The electrical discharge creates that positive sweet smell that we understand as clean fresh air.
The molecule of ozone is inherently unstable and tries to break down into the oxygen molecule as quickly as possible. This is what makes ozone such a great air and water cleaner. The ozone molecules need to combine with something in order to break down, so they end up oxidizing organic compounds and turn them into harmless carbon dioxide and water. Because ozone quickly breaks down into oxygen, It's considerably less toxic than disinfectant chemicals like chlorine. It has been called "the cleanest oxidizer and disinfector".

3、How Ozone Kills Microorganisms
①、Ozone can combine with amino acid and breaks through protein.
②、Ozone destroys viruses by diffusing through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core, resulting in damage of the viral RNA. At higher concentrations, oxone destroys the capsid or exterior protein shell by oxidation.
③、Gram negative organisms, fatty acid alkyl chains and helical lipoproteins are present. Ozone may also penetrate the cellular envelope, directly affecting cytoplasmic integrity, disrupting any one of numerous levels of its metabolic complexities.

①、 Water Treatment
Ozone can effectively kill the bacteria and virus; can remove the organic impurities in the water. It can remove odor and be used as bleaching agent too.
Chlorime is widely used in water treatment practice, which will generate harmful substances like chloroform in the process of treating water. But ozone will not. And ozone is more gemicidal than chlorine. It has been widely used in water plants in the USA and EU.
②、Chemical
Ozone can break into the link of organics to combine new compounds. It is widely used as oxidant in the industries of chemical, petrol, papermaking and pharmacy.

③、Foods’ Industry
Because ozone is a safe, powerful disinfectant, it can be used to control biological growth of unwanted organisms in products and equipment used in the food processing industries. Ozone is particularly suited to the food industry because of its ability to disinfect miccroorganisms without adding chemical by-products to the food being treated, or to the food processing water or atmosphere in which food are stored.
In aqueous solutions, ozone can be used to disinfect equipment, process water, and some foods stuff. In gaseous form, ozone can act as a preservative for certain foods products and can also sanitize food packaging materials. Some products currently being preserved wit ozone include eggs during cold storage, fresh fruits and vegetables, and fresh fish.

Ozone has been used in hospitals and clinics as disinfectant in China. In Germany and other developed countries ozone has been used in therapy. And it is more germicidal than formalin, acidum peroxyaceticum and potassium permanganate.

（二）Parts and Components/Operation Instructions
JQ-6A Operation Instructions
1、Plug into an earthed socket of the appropriate rating.
2、Connect the tube with the outlet of the machine and the ozone diffuser stone.(No need any diffuser stone in air treatment)
3、Turn the time knob clockwise direction to indicate the working time and to stop.(The maximum working time is 30 minutes)
4、Push the ozone output adjustor up (100mg/h)or down (400mg/h)to indicate the ozone output.
四、Cautions
（一）Safety Cautions
1、The machine should be mounted in the position, where is higher than water level, to protect water from backflow into the machine.
2、Do not put the machine in a smoky or damp place and avoid high temperature environment.
3、Handle with caution. Do not cover the air outlet.
4、Place the machine in a proper position out of access to children.
5、Keep the air tube clean and do not fold it.
6、Do not close your eyes or nose to the air outlet of the machine.
7、Do not stay in an airtight room when purifying the air.
8、Stop using the machine if you feel dizzy after you have used it.
9、Do not use the machine in an airtight room for too long.
10、Do not drink ozone treated water until the process is completed for 5~10minutes.
11、The safety level of ozone for human is about 0.01-0.1ppm,which is about the same level of ozone in nature.
12、It is normal if the air tube becomes white or yellow after using for some time.
13、Make sure that the diffuser stone is in the bottom of the vessel when treating water.
14、In water treatment, when the water in 20-40cm deep, ozone has high dissolving ability.
15、Disconnect the power cord when repairing or maintaining the machine.
（二）Operation Cautions

（三）Trouble Shooting Data
1、If ozone output is reducing, please check:
a、If the air tube is breached or folded. In the event of breaching and folding, please change the air tube or unfolded it.
b、If the diffuser stone is clogged. In the event of clogging, please change a new diffuser stone.
2、If working normally, but has no smell of ozone, please contact franchiser or manufacture.
3、If working normally, but the indicator has no light, please contact franchiser or manufacturer.
