INCI: Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate (and) Boron Nitride
Description: DRY-FLO ELITE BN starch combines the lubricity properties of boron nitride with the functional properties of DRY-FLO PC starch. Due to special processing, the boron nitride is uniformly distributed on the surface of the starch particle giving consistent quality and performance. As a result, the DRY-FLO ELITE BN starch exhibits increased skin adhesion and improved aesthetics compared to the base starch, providing a very lubricious feel to formulations.

Description: DRY-FLO ELITE LL starch combines the elegant properties of lauroyl lysine with the functional properties of DRY-FLO PC starch. Due to special processing, the lauroyl lysine is uniformly distributed on the surface of the starch particle giving consistent quality and performance. As a result the DRY-FLO ELITE LL starch exhibits increased skin adhesion and lubricity compared to the base starch and imparts a very soft, extremely smooth feel to formulations.

DRY-FLO® PC
INCI: Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate
Description: DRY-FLO PC starch is a unique, hydrophobically modified natural polymer. It can be used as a talc replacement in body powders adsorbing moisture without caking. In color cosmetics, DRY-FLO PC starch can be incorporated into liquid or powdered makeup to improve aesthetics of the formulas and to adsorb excess oil from the skin.
The most distinctive property of DRY-FLO PC starch is its ability to mitigate greasiness produced by oils and occlusive agents used in lotions, creams, and ointments. In both aqueous and anhydrous products for skin care DRY-FLO PC starch reduces the perceived oiliness of formulations, leaving a soft, dry, and matte finish on the skin.
Also available is an irradiated version of DRY-FLO called DRY-FLO PURE starch (28-1850) [DRY-FLO PLUS starch (28-1160) in Europe] which possesses a clean microbiological profile.
