The high-barrier（EVOH）usually refers to packaging materials with high permeability barrier function for gas, liquid and other materials., such as to prevent the intrusion of oxygen; to prevent oxidative deterioration of food; to prevent the infiltration of water or water vapor in order to avoid commodities damp; to prevent the aroma, flavor escaped in order to avoid lower the quality of food; to prevent the carbon dioxide escaping so as not to make the drinking off-odor or go bad. Therefore, the five co-extruded high barrier products are mainly used in the production of food and beverage packaging which can replace glass and metal containers.
