EMAMECTIN BENZOATE Common Name Emamectin Benzoate Chemical Name epimethylamino-4"-deoxyavermectinbenzoate (b1a and b1b), MK-244 CAS NO. 137512-74-4 Formula and Molecular Weight Emamectin Benzoate B1a: C49H75NO13·C7H6O2 = 1008.3 Emamectin Benzoate B1b: C48H73NO13·C7H6O2 = 994.2 Description This product is grey to light yellow powder; the melting point is 141-146℃. It is easily soluble in methanol, acetone and like, slightly soluble in water (approximately 300mmp at pH=5), and insoluble in hexane. Melting point: 141-146℃ (DSC 2℃/min, N2) Toxicity Acute oral LD50 in female mice is 92.6 mg/kg b.w. and 126 mg/kg b.w. in male mice. It has no teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and mutagenicity. Usage The product is highly active against many larvae of Lepidoptera and some other insects, notovicidal, and can move in to plant cuticula through osmosis to form active ingredient. Research trials indicate that emamectin benzoate is effective even at very low use rates and is not disruptive to beneficial arthropods in integrated pest management programs(IPM). Formulations 60-70% TC, 90% TC, 0.5%EC, 1.0% EC, 1.9%EC. 2.0%EC. 2.15%EC. .3.8%EC. 5%WDG. Also can make production according to customer's requirements
