INDICATIONS
ELLEGYN soft vaginal capsules and ELLEGYN vaginal suspension are indicated for “vaginitis and vulvovaginitis” in general, since the lactobacilli they contain, implant and proliferate themselves on the vaginal mucous, apart from reestablishing autochthonous bacterial flora balance, they antagonize, indirectly by competition, the colonization of pathogenic germs. ELLEGYN is therefore used for topical treatment of the vaginal infections related to pathogenic germs. In particular in vaginitis associated with ovarian insufficiency, hypofolliculin leukorrhoea, vaginitis in children, sensile vaginitis, vulval itching, vaginal dystrophy. ELLEGYN is also used as an adjuvant during chemoptherapy and antibiotic treatment of Trichomonas vaginitis.
DOSES, DIRECTIONS AND ADMINISTRATION
One capsule should be inserted deeply in the vagina, in reclining position, in the evening before going to sleep.
