Instructions
This instrument is especially designed to measure forehead temperature. It can measure forehead temperature swiftly and accurately and can help pick up the people who gets fever from the crowd promptly. The measuring range is between 28°Cand 42°C. This product works by sensing infrared heat. The environment temperature can be compensated automatically. Non-contact working mode helps avoid crossing infection.
[ Precautions]
The product shall be used under constant temperature (approx. 25°C), so that the measured temperature is accurate.
The forehead shall keep dry and not covered with hair in order to get accurate measurement.
This product is precise optic instrument, shall not be touched with water or any other liquid.
The lens shall be protected and cleaned timely with soft material so that the measuring value is accurate.
In case that the working condition or environment temperature changes acutely, the instrument shall be placed in the actual working condition or environment for twenty minutes till it accommodates the actual environment. Thus the measuring is accurate.
The measured forehead temperature is for reference only, not for diagnosis and treat. In case that the forehead temperature is abnormal, please use medical thermometer for further measurement. Please read the operation instruction carefully before usage.

[Operation Instruction]
Loading batteries: Open battery room lid, load one 9V pile-up battery in battery room and close the lid. (When battery symbol displays on LCD, it is a reminder for changing with new battery.
Measuring: Place the instrument facing the forehead of the person who to be measured, 100 to 150mm away, then turn on the instrument. The measured temperature value will displays on LCD and will be locked for five seconds.
Setting temperature unit: Under battery room lid, “C” area is for Celsius and “F” area is for Fahrenheit.
Setting body temperature and forehead temperature: The instrument can display forehead temperature or oxter temperature which is calculated from forehead temperature based on statistics. Setting method: Switch the button to “S” area, it will display forehead temperature; If switch the button to “B” area, it will display oxter temperature.
Setting warning temperature:
(1) Press “S” and “ “ at the same time, then free the buttons till “HI” displays and the pre-set warning temperature. ( The warning temperature shall be set respectively according to oxter temperature and forehead temperature.)
(2) Press “ “ or “ “ to adjust the warning temperature. ( The pre-set warning temperature is 37.5°C)
(3) Press “S” to confirm, then it is a normal display, “HI” disappears. The instrument shuts off afterwards.
(4) When the measured temperature exceeds the pre-set warning temperature, the buzzer alarms.
Compensation for temperature value:
(5) Figure out the difference between actual oxter temperature and forehead temperature by statistics, record it as “X” ( Positive value if forehead temperature is higher than actual oxter temperature; Negative value if forehead temperature is lower than actual oxter temperature.)
(6) Press “ “ and “ “ at the same time, it displays “TEACH” and “0.0”.
(7) Press “ “ or “ “ to adjust temperature value to “X”.
(8) Press “ S “ to confirm, then it displays normally, “TEACH” disappears. The instrument shuts off afterwards.
