Resveratrol has special protection on cardiovascular system through its function of adjusting LDL level in blood. It is used for prevention of atherosclerosis and reducing incidence of Hyperlipidemia and coronary heart disease. Resveratrol can reduce coagulation of platelets to prevent formulation of thrombus. Resveratrol is an anti-aging agent, acting by stimulating a class of enzymes called sirtuins, which inhibit some genes, stimulate others and repair DNA damage, keeping cells alive and ultimately prolonging an organism's lifespan.
