Characteristic: Powder AP100 is a water redispersible polymer powder based on a pure acrylate copolymer, using poly(vinyl alcohol) as a protective colloid It is free of any solvents and plasticizes Specification Mother emulsion: Appearance: white liquid (pure acrylic) Solid content (150°C x 20min): 43.0 ±1.0% Viscosity: < 2,000cps (Brookfield LVT spindle 3, 12rpm) pH: 5.0 ±1.0 Powder: Appearance: white powder Glass transition temperature (Tg): approximately 0°C Content of grains - larger than 300 μm: < 2.0% Moisture content (150°C x 20min): < 2.0% Apparent density: 500 ±100 g/L Ash content (450 °C x 40 min): 19.0 ±1.5 Redispersion (50% solution): viscosity at 25°C < 2,000 cps (Brookfield LVT spindle 3, 12rpm) pH: 7.0 ±1.0 Application: Powder AP100 is a water redispersible powder which can be used universally to manufacture polymer-modified dry mixtures based on mineral binders such as cement, lime or gypsum Package 20kg/bag: valved multilayer paper sacks with polyethylene interleaf Storage: AP100 must be stored in a cool, dry place To prevent moisture penetration, packs which have been opened should be sealed again as soon as possible On account of thermoplastic behavior of the redispersible powder, sacks must not be stacked higher than one pallet powder AP100 storage times should not exceed 3 months from date of delivery Industrial safety and environmental protection: Risk of explosion by static sparks or ignition sources Use only explosion-proof equipment Use with local exhaust ventilation Wear protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles A safety data sheet will be made available on request This information is based on our present state of knowledge and is intended to provide general notes on our products and their uses It should not therefore be construed as guaranteeing.
