With a history of thirty-six years, Chaozhou Three-Circle (Group) Co., LTD (CCTC) is now the leading company in the field of the electronic ceramics in China. Different from many companies in the country, its shares are owned by its members. The company holds 8 manufacturing plants and some subsidiaries or offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Guangzhou etc. It has the total assets of USD60 million, employs more than 3,600 people including more than 300 engineers or technicians in R&D and production, and covers a garden-like area of 180,000 square metres.
CCTC is an innovative company in its effort to build the brand of ‘Advanced Ceramics Expert’. The application of its hi-tech ceramic products has extended to electronics, telecommunication, power, environmental protection, new energy resources etc. Our main products consist of Ceramic Rods of Resistors, Thin Film Fixed Resistors, Chip Inductors and Microwave Dielectric Ceramic Parts, Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCC), and Alumina Ceramic Substrates for Chip Resistors, Ceramic Ferrules for Fiber Optic Connectors, Fashion Ceramic, New Energy Ceramics, Structural Ceramics and Ceramic Metallization and so on. The products based on the material of ceramics are diversified and have become an important part of the global supply chain.
CCTC is vertically-integrated company, which is specialized in the R&D and production of materials, products, and even equipment. In 1997 it established Guangdong Provincial Research Center of Electronic Ceramic Engineering Technology and in 2002 it was recognized as Guangdong Provincial Technological Center. It performs the R&D of the new materials, new products, and the new equipment and has undertaken several national and provincial projects successively. CCTC have also developed many hi-tech products and some high-accuracy and specialized equipment by using the technology of optics, mechanics and electronics. Some of them have won the Guangdong Provincial Scientific and Technological Awards. Meanwhile, CCTC has been appraised as national and provincial Excellent High-tech Enterprise and appointed as the industrialization base of the State 863 Plan.
The value of CCTC is quality first and to serve customers well. In 1997 it set up the ISO9000 quality management system, adopted the 6-Sigma quality management and 6S worksite management. It is later certified as a compliant of ISO90001:2000. The quality control of the whole production process and its continuous improvement have upgraded quality level of the products, among which more than 30 products had have won many gold prizes awarded by the State or provincial government. ‘Three-Circle’ has also been named as Guangdong Provincial Famous Brand.
CCTC has also experienced many reforms in its organization. Established in 1970, it started its business as a collectively-owned company, Chaozhou No.1 Wireless Components Factory. In 1980 it was changed to a state-owned company, Chaozhou Radio Porcelain Factory, and reorganized into a company limited by shares in 1992. In 1999 the state-owned shares were sold to all members of the company and thus most of employees became the shareholders. The people oriented value in management have nurtured the corporate culture of “Sincerity and Diligence, Innovation in technology, Respect talents, Cooperation and Friendship”, which underpins its innovation of products and continuous development. It has been conferred the title of “Advanced Unit of the National Spiritual Civilization Construction Work” and many similar titles at the provincial and municipal level.
Central leaders in China like Hu Jintao, Jiang Zeming and Zhang Dejiang etc., have visited CCTC separately and thought exceptionally well of our performance.
