Established in 1964, Zhuzhou Research & Design Institute of Rubber & Plastic is a specialized research institute and the largest manufacturer of meteorological balloon in China with an annual output up to 1,000,000 pcs; all of its products are tested by the Chemical Industry Latex Products Quality Supervision and Testing Center, which is a national specialized inspection institute authorized by the China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (CNACL).
