Ductile iron pipes are widely used to such compressive pipes as water pipeline,oil pipeline,gas pipelineand sewerage pipeline. Obvious features as following: 1.Not only does DI pipe have high tensile strength,bearbable and excellent anti-compressive quality as steel, but also as anti-corrosion as gray iron. 2.Mechanical properties: the elongation more than 10%,tensile strength more than 420Mpa,and anti-compressive higher than 4Mpa; 3.By means of stable chemical properties, DI pipe can be applied with anti-corrosion measures,such as zinc painting ang outside painting which perform well in anti-corrosion and help the pipe used more than 100 years. 4.The ductile pipes can be installed easily and the cost of project is economical. 5.For the high anti-compressive and percentage elongation , With with flexible joint , the DI pipes have high anti-seismic and anti-sinking ability,Whatever axial deformation, within 3~5°, causes no leakage.
