Function Features  Big capacity When path transmission rate is 2.5Gbit/s with single-mode fiber, total capacity is 20Gbit/s with 8-wavelength equipment. When path transmission rate is 10Gbit/s with zero water peak fiber, total capacity is 320Gbit/s with 32-wavelength equipment.  Flexible networking It can construct with point-to-point, linking, ring, and diplex transmission with one fiber, point-to-multiple points, and etc. network configuration.  Flexible and transparent access at various rates and for various services It provides various rate and various service interfaces that can realize the connection with Ethernets, PDH, SDH, optical fiber paths and etc.  Multiple transmission range The transmission range is 30km, 50km, 80km and 100km without regenerator.  Good expandability: 4-wavelength, 5-wavelength, 6-wavelength, 7-wavelength, 8-wavelength and 9-wavelength (include 1310 wavelength)  1+1 optical multiplexing section protection function Optical path switching time is ≤30ms, which guarantees the safety and reliability of the line.  1+1 hot stand-by redundant power supply  Open architecture It supports access via client sides of various manufactures equipment, as well as interconnection and intercommunication with many manufactures’ equipment.  Transmission via regenerator When the transmission range exceeds 80km, regenerator can be used to preamplifier, reshape and refit a time at various rates.  The optical add and drop multiplex (OADM) function, able to add or drop at various rates.  Flexible network management configuration and management style It adopts SNMP-based graphical interface and supports management via in band or out of band. The network management system adopts an embedded operating system and has a real-time monitoring and controlling function. Applicable Conditions  It’s suitable for the high-speed interconnection and transparent transmission in trunk networks and border networks, as well as access networks, converge node in broadband optical MANS.  It’s suitable for point-to-point, point-to-multiple points, linking, ring, and diplex transmission with one fiber and etc.  It provides flexible access at various data types and various rates, and problem can be solved to optical fiber resource shortage.
