If the coating of the wire is metal, the wire diameter generally is between 2.0 mm and 4.0 mm; and if it woven by PVC-coated metal wire, the general wire (metal) diameter is between 3.0mm and 4.5mm. Wire used on the edge is 1st larger than the hexagonal wire.
