HENGXIN® self-regulating heating cable is ideal for keeping metal and plastic pipes warm in commercial construction, institutional buildings and some industrial freeze protection applications. Heating cable is constructed of a self-regulating polymer core (PTC) that varies its output along its entire length, saving energy and eliminating hot spots along the pipe. The parallel construction makes it easier to install than zone or series types of cable since it can be cut to length at any point on the pipe. 1. Standard color: brown 2. Temperature range: Max. working temperature 105±5 Max. exposure temperature 135 Max. bearing temperature: modified polyolefin: 105; fire-retardant polyolefin: 105; fluorin-contained polyolefin: 180; fluorin material: 205 3. Minimum installation temperature: -40 4. Start-up crurrent ( at 10 ): ≤0.7A/m 5. Thermal stability: After circulating for 300times from 10to 149, cable heat is maintained at 90% and above. 6. Minimum bend radius: at 20:38.5mm At -30:49.0mm 7. Insulation resistance: Testing insulation resistance is 20MΩ at least if cable length is 100m and thermostatic water is 75. As for shielding or explosive-proof & protective type, test for 1 min between shielding layer and conductive wire core in 2,500VDC in 20, insulation resistance is 1200MΩ at least.
