As dispersion phase in nanoceramic composites, it increases the strength especially at high temperature with a lower friction surface toward improved overall performances of the composites. Some applications:   1) Nanostructured Si3N4 devices:   For example, in metallurgical, petroleum & chemical industry, mechanical industry, aeronautics and space industry and energy source fields etc., the following devices can be manufactured from this powder: balls and rollers of roll bearings, slide bearings, covers, valves,turbine, cutting tool, insulation part, spray nozzles (for rockets), spray pipe (for missiles), strengthening materials for Al alloys and other structural devices with high wear resistance, anti-high temperature and anti-corrosion. 2) Nanoparticle coating on metal and other materials   For example, it may be formed a nano coating on moulds, cutting tools, blades of steam-turbines, rotors of turbines and internal wall of cylinders etc.. Clear anti-scratch coating for cell phone or cars.   3) Composites: Si3N4 nano composites of metal matrixes, ceramic matrixes and graphite matrixes; composite paint, binders, rubbers and plastics, and other polymer matrix composites with Nano- Si3N4 particles. Notes: The nanopowder needs to avoid direct sunshine. Moisture will result for agglomerations. Long time (e.g. <1 hour) exposion directly to water needs to be avoided.
