Detailed Description
The proton magnetometer belongs to a branch with higher precision of multitudinous magnetometer. Even to surveying the relative weaker magnetism, like Earth's magnetic field, the proton magnetometer can also obtain a higher resolution and the precision, therefore, so weak the change of earth’s magnetic field is, it can detect. Its principle of work uses the phenomenon of hydrogen proton precessing in the magnetic field to carry on the measurement. The sensor is filled with liquid contained hydrogen, these hydrogen protons in which is at the disorder of the arrangement condition until being polarized forcibly by the instrument.
