Iodine is called as life element and wisdom element, which is the necessary element for body and plant; furthermore, it is raw material to create abio or organic iodide and also is the good activator for many chemical reactions. It is wide used in many industries such as food, medicament, industry, agriculture and top end industry etc.
In medicament industry, iodine has huge effect for antisepsis and antisepticise. It can oxygenate active group of bacilli cytoplasm albuminoid; combine with the amido of albuminoid to change it denaturalization; furthermore, it can kill bacilli, epiphyte, virus and amebiasis protozoon . In food industry, potassium iodate is main additive of iodized salt; furthermore, it can eliminate food quality.
In industry, iodine is the main content of composing organic fuel, which can make phthalein series tar fuel. In metallurgy industry, iodine is used for purifying high pure metal. In illumination industry, iodine tungsten light has strong lamplight and can save energy. In top end industry, the organic compound of iodine is additive of manufacturing rocketry fuel.
