Detailed Description
The aperture size of 4A molecular sieve is 4A, so it only adsorbs molecules with aperture size smaller than 4A, and none with larger aperture size at all (including propane). It is mainly used for adsorption of water, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene, and etc. Especially the selective adsorption of 4A molecular sieve to water is higher than any other molecular sieve. As one of the most important molecular sieve in industry, 4A molecular sieve is applied to the deep adsorption of gas and liquid such as air, natural gas, ene, refrigerant, etc. Also, it is used for preparation and purification of argon, medicine packaging, electronic components, static desiccation of perishable goods. 4A molecular sieve is also used as dehydrating agent of paint, fuel and coatings.
